Your consultation with specialist hip surgeon Mr Burwell will last approximately half an hour. He may suggest further investigations such as blood tests or imaging, these will be carried out on-site at the private hospital.

Your hip pain is unique to you therefore your customised treatment plan will be tailored to your specific needs and recovery expectations. Our specialist team will work with you to ensure your time with us is the best it can be and your return to normal activities is as quick as possible.
If surgery is what is needed, Mr Burwell’s secretarial team will make sure you have all the information you need before your operation.
If you are planning to claim the cost of treatment on your health insurance policy, you will need to contact your insurer before your operation to ask for a procedure code.
If you are funding your own treatment we will provide details of charges for the surgeon, anaesthetist and hospital before the procedure is carried out. This will be confirmed in writing.
